Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for baggage and cargo handling and segregation at airports, ensuring operational safety and efficiency. Key Highlights: 1. Working in a dynamic airport environment Description: * Completed high school education; * Good interpersonal communication skills; * Analytical ability to assess situations; * Stress resistance; Physical requirements include broad and fine motor coordination, dexterity, articulation of upper and lower limbs, bipedal posture for performing tasks, trunk rotation and flexion, physical effort, and walking throughout the operational area. Sensory requirements include visual acuity for moving baggage from conveyor belts to transport equipment, pavement navigation, aircraft loading and unloading of luggage and cargo, signaling around the flight being serviced, floor inspection and sweeping to collect fallen objects, and auditory perception to identify audible signals from equipment and machinery on the tarmac. Neuropsychic requirements include attention, concentration, organizational ability, data interpretation, and initiative to resolve causal situations. * Supervise aircraft during arrivals and departures; * Verify and supervise baggage and cargo labels; * Place and remove wheel chocks and cones on aircraft according to the Client’s Manual or dnata’s MGO; * Perform baggage and cargo segregation in airport sorting areas by reading identification labels (with or without technological assistance), ensuring loading into storage devices (carts and/or ULDs) for correct flights; * Load baggage and cargo into aircraft holds following norms and procedures outlined in the MGO, including special handling recommendations (fragile, dangerous, live animals, perishable items); * Unload baggage and cargo by reading volume identification labels and place them at designated locations (baggage reclaim carousels); * Segregate baggage and cargo during aircraft unloading to facilitate flight connections through volume identification label reading; * Inspect and monitor cargo and baggage packaging to verify compliance with transportation standards, ensuring flight and handler safety; * Correctly handle and allocate baggage and cargo into aircraft holds, observing internal retention and hold height safety limits; * Unload wheelchairs or baby strollers and place them at designated locations; * Perform equipment marshalling during coupling procedures with aircraft to prevent fuselage collisions; * Service aircraft within established timeframes for each service type and airport classification; * Conduct checklists on non-motorized equipment to ensure operational safety and report equipment requiring repairs to the GSE Technical maintenance team; * Report any equipment malfunctions during operations to supervisors. 2512110202491571374
