Focus on patient well-being and safety 3. Support and guidance for patients and their families * We are seeking a qualified professional for the position of Versatile Nursing Technician. This team member will be responsible for various essential activities in the ICU, ensuring high-quality and safe patient care. Key responsibilities include: \- Performing nursing and medical procedures according to established guidelines. \- Transporting and admitting patients and companions to the ICU, and assisting with patient transfers between departments. \- Preparing patients for hospital discharge, escorting them to reception. \- Conducting cardiac monitoring for admitted patients, following institutional standards. \- Performing repositioning maneuvers per ICU routine, documenting information in the appropriate form. \- Verifying and storing psychotropic medications per institutional regulations. \- Providing nursing care to hospitalized patients, ensuring their well-being and safety. \- Offering support and guidance to patients and their families throughout treatment. \- Preparing and safely transporting patients for internal and external examinations. \- Accompanying complex procedures and managing OPME material packaging per audit instructions. \- Responding efficiently and competently to emergency situations. \- Entering prescription and nursing progress notes into the electronic system. \- Verifying and administering medications per medical prescription. \- Managing returns of unused materials and medications via the electronic health record. \- Conducting medication and procedure verifications using an electronic system (ADEP). \- Logging patient care and safety-related incidents in the electronic health record. \- Cleaning and disinfecting medical equipment, documenting procedures per ICU routine. \- Organizing and disinfecting supply rooms, maintaining cleanliness and order. \- Preparing patients for surgery, following institutional protocols. \- Reviewing patients’ nursing histories, especially regarding allergies and medication use. \- Assessing patients’ clinical risks using standardized identifiers. \- Receiving and training new staff members in the department. \- Ensuring proper maintenance of available resources. \- Organizing and restocking departmental supplies as needed. \- Performing other job-related duties as required.
