Keep the cash register clean, organized, and follow established procedures A supermarket chain is seeking a Cashier Operator in Florianópolis. **Responsibilities:** Register products in the point-of-sale system during customer purchases. Accept payments in cash, credit/debit cards, PIX, and other payment methods. Issue fiscal invoices and purchase receipts. Open and close the cash register daily. Verify amounts and monitor cash flow. Serve customers courteously and efficiently. Assist with packing purchases when necessary. Inform customers about prices, promotions, and available payment methods. Resolve minor pricing or payment discrepancies. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked cash register. Follow company security and financial control procedures. Contribute to efficient and organized customer service in the supermarket. Previous experience as a Cashier, Checkout Attendant, Customer Service Operator, or Sales Assistant may indicate suitability for some of the duties associated with this position. High school diploma required.
