Job Summary: Assist the butcher in all stages of meat preparation, cutting, packaging, and display, ensuring hygiene and organization of the department. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure correct pricing and product display Job Description: * Assist the butcher in preparing (cutting, separating, etc.) products and packaging them according to the department’s manual; * Assist the butcher in preparing, cutting, and delivering products requested by customers (slicing, portioning, grinding, and weighing), packaged and labeled according to the product code; * Label products according to the internal code for the sales area and company requirements; * Verify that products are correctly labeled (price, origin, manufacturing date, expiration date, label placement); * Assemble, seal, and label trays of meat department products for display and for cold rooms; * Sterilize equipment and tools used for meat handling before and after each use; * Separate products for restaurant and kitchen use upon request; * Perform pricing and price re-labeling according to department leadership instructions; \- Restock items on counters and refrigerated and frozen islands whenever items are sold; \- Remove deteriorated or unsightly items daily, checking expiration dates of displayed products; * Clean equipment, facilities, and utensils as needed; * Load and unload products onto trucks using hydraulic equipment and store products in appropriate locations; * Assist the butcher in verifying received goods and inventory upon request; * Store refrigerated and frozen products in their respective cold rooms; * Prepare product display areas in the sales zone according to the department’s manual.
