Responsibilities Promote development of departmental infrastructure (computerization, communication, equipment maintenance, facilities, materials, and physical space); Participate in development of clinical protocols and medication use guidelines; Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care; Create and update product registries, providing technical data; Ensure compliance with general regulations regarding storage and inventory control, distribution of medications, medical and hospital supplies, etc.; Establish an efficient, effective, and safe transportation and dispensing system with traceability for outpatients or hospitalized patients, implementing pharmaceutical care actions; Plan and supervise inventory audits of department stock (central pharmacy, emergency pharmacy, and surgical center); Supervise safe and accurate dispensing of medications and materials to patients; Support and monitor surgical kit registries, guiding correct assembly; Implement strategies and analyze pharmacy service processes; Participate in institutional committees; Assume technical coordination for standardization, programming, selection, and procurement of medications, supplies, raw materials, health products, and sanitizers; Conduct pharmacovigilance, technovigilance, and hemovigilance activities in the hospital, reporting suspected adverse reactions and technical complaints to competent health authorities; Develop hospital risk management activities; Select suppliers of materials and medications, following criteria defined by the Standardization Committee; Perform selection, management, training, and evaluation of staff (time cards, days off, shift swaps, vacations, etc.); Promote education and training on medications and health products for healthcare team members; Encourage implementation and development of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Care; Comply with and enforce legislation related to hospital pharmaceutical care activities; Develop clinical\-supportive practices contributing to comprehensive care; Institute outcome evaluation processes for quality certifications and hospital accreditation; Present indicators to Administrative Management; Participate in development and implementation of new institutional projects related to the area; Justify department budget, indicating improvements to reduce costs; Submit quarterly reports on controlled medications (Portaria 344/98) to Health Surveillance; Develop the procedural manual for administrative, operational, and clinical activities of the service; Perform other duties of similar nature and complexity related to the position, as assigned. ###### **Requirements and Qualifications** Hospital Administration Medication Dispensing Pharmacology Supply Chain Management Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Internet) Pathology Nursing Routines and Procedures Pharmaceutical and Hospital Legislation Job Code: 198
