Customer service** * Greet customers and identify their needs. * Guide customers regarding product locations in the store. * Provide basic information about **over-the-counter medications** (e.g., general usage, purpose, dosage instructions indicated on packaging). * Clarify questions regarding perfumery, cosmetics, personal hygiene products, dietary supplements, and other convenience items. **2. Support in medication dispensing** * Select and organize medications requested by customers. * Forward prescriptions to the pharmacist when sales require technical evaluation. * Ensure that controlled substances or prescription-only medications are released solely by the pharmacist. **3. Cash register and sales operations** * Register purchases in the system. * Accept payments in cash, credit/debit card, or other payment methods. * Issue fiscal receipts. * Promote discounts and loyalty programs. **4. Product organization and restocking** * Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked shelves. * Monitor expiration dates and remove expired products. * Verify received goods and store them properly. * Assist with inventory and stock control. **5. Administrative support** * Update prices and labels. * Assist with document control, such as retained prescriptions. * Follow internal pharmacy or drugstore procedures. **6. Compliance with safety standards and legislation** * Adhere to health surveillance regulations (ANVISA). * Follow guidance from the responsible pharmacist. * Ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
