About ACATE and the Business Verticals and Thematic Groups We are the leading representative of innovative entrepreneurship in Santa Catarina. Our mission is to support the local ecosystem end-to-end—from startups to large enterprises—generating connections that strengthen the technology sector across the state. The Business Verticals—the area for which this position is open—currently unite over 550 companies and over 1,000 technology-sector leaders from Santa Catarina, forming 11 communities based on their respective economic sectors, with the shared goal of growing collectively and generating business opportunities. Within this team, we also have Thematic Groups that discuss topics of interest to member companies regardless of industry or maturity level. Job Mission We are seeking an intern to join our Business Verticals and Thematic Groups team at ACATE, playing an essential role combining communication and operations skills. We seek someone who enjoys technology and innovation and wishes to work in a purposeful, dynamic, and innovative environment; who is curious and committed to continuous development; who possesses systemic thinking across diverse topics, attention to operational detail, and competencies focused on communication and marketing. **Responsibilities and Activities:** **Organizing and coordinating meetings and events:** venue booking, vendor contracting, space setup, outreach to entrepreneurs for invitations, drafting minutes and reports; Supporting prospecting, onboarding, and offboarding processes for companies enrolled in the program; **Supporting financial and administrative management:** procurement, payment processing, and updating the cash flow of the Verticals; Supporting mapping, modeling, and optimizing program processes; Actively collaborating with the marketing department to develop creative strategies for promoting events, opportunities, and news from the Business Verticals and Thematic Groups across ACATE’s social media channels (WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.); Participating in the production and dissemination of communication materials for the Verticals and Thematic Groups programs; Supporting maintenance and updates of websites and presentations for the Verticals and Thematic Groups; Making graphic design adjustments using tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience in marketing and communication campaigns; Fluent English; **Requirements:** Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program related to communication and/or marketing (mandatory); Intermediate proficiency in Google Workspace tools—especially Google Sheets, Docs, and Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio); Familiarity with Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or InDesign; Availability to work 30 hours per week during business hours; Proactivity and eagerness to learn and grow are essential; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Organizational ability to manage multiple documents, information, and data.
