The Metal/Mechanical Production Assistant will organize the work area, sort materials and tools, and operate low-complexity machines, always maintaining organization and cleanliness.

**Position: METAL/MECHANICAL PRODUCTION ASSISTANT**
**Job Mission:** Directly assist in the production line, being responsible for organizing the work area, sorting materials and tools to be used, preparing and, when necessary, operating low-complexity machines — always ensuring organization and cleanliness of the workstation and production line.
**Main Responsibilities:**
· Receive the production schedule;
· Analyze and interpret technical drawings;
· Verify dimensional conformity between drawing and machine;
· Perform material cutting;
· Carry out adjustments and corrective maintenance, when required;
· Organize and clean the workplace;
· Perform internal material handling, upon request;
· Supply workstations with the resources required for respective operations;
· Clean machines and equipment, whenever requested;
Prepare/adjust platform components;
· Assist in preparation and assembly of subassemblies;
· Assist in subassembly testing; perform finishing of machined parts;
· Perform part maintenance, when required;
· Carry out other tasks of similar nature and complexity associated with this position.
**Academic Qualifications:**
· Currently enrolled in or completed high school — mandatory
· Industrial Mechanics General course and/or related fields — preferred
**Experience:** MINIMUM 1 YEAR
**Desired Technical Knowledge:**
· Basic knowledge of industrial tools;
· Basic knowledge of mechanics and reading/interpretation of mechanical drawings;
· Metrology and units of measurement.
· Basic electrical knowledge.
**Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 17:48, with a 1-hour lunch break.
**Salary:** To be negotiated
