Team orientation and supervision in the kitchen Description: * Hospital sector experience is desirable. * Availability to work flexible hours. * Prepare meals and desserts, controlling food quality, preparation time, and taste to meet established menus. * Develop individualized diets according to established menus. * Guide assistants in meal pre-preparation, supervising tasks performed to maintain service quality standards. * Ensure hygiene in kitchen operations by applying proper food handling, cleaning, and storage methods, as well as arranging for equipment, facility, and utensil cleaning. * Guide and/or perform food pre-preparation, selecting cereals, peeling, washing, and chopping vegetables, legumes, tubers, and fruits; cleaning and cutting meats to expedite meal preparation. * Operate food preparation and handling equipment, heating or refrigeration appliances. * Report to the immediate supervisor any irregularities found in the quality of goods delivered for cooking, as well as the need for repair or replacement of kitchen utensils, equipment, and facilities. * Ensure individual and collective safety by using appropriate personal protective equipment during service execution. * Maintain custody, preservation, maintenance, and cleaning of used equipment, instruments, and materials, as well as the workplace. * Perform treatment and disposal of waste materials generated at the workplace. * Perform other related tasks as required or at the discretion of the supervisor 2512120202501839528
