Focus on industrial problems CALL FOR SELECTION OF RESEARCH FELLOWS \-00062/2026 \- Research Fellow \- Development of Optimization Algorithms. The National Service for Industrial Training – Santa Catarina Regional Department hereby issues this Call for Selection of Research Fellows and invites interested candidates to apply, in accordance with the criteria established herein. * **Educational Level**: Bachelor's degree, Master's candidate, or Master's degree holder in exact sciences. * **Required Knowledge:** * Basic programming skills in Python; * Familiarity with Gurobi or other optimization solvers such as CPLEX, MOSEK, Xpress, CBC, HiGHS, SCIP, and GLPK; * Experience in optimization, mathematical modeling, and heuristic methods; * Teamwork skills. * **Desirable Knowledge:** * Experience in mixed-integer programming; * Experience with optimization algorithms such as genetic algorithms; * Experience with optimization and mathematical decomposition techniques such as relax-and-fix, fix-and-optimize, column generation, Benders decomposition, and related methods. * **Description and Objectives of the R&D&I Project:** This project aims to apply advanced AI techniques, focusing on the development of optimization and analytics algorithms for industrial problems. * **Work Plan Title:** Artificial Intelligence Project. * **Scholarship Value and Workload:** Bachelor's degree completed \- R$ 2\.320,33 Master's program in progress \- R$ 2\.953,13 Master's degree completed \- R$ 5\.027,31 Workload: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, 200 hours per month. * **Scholarship Duration:** 12 months \- \* with possibility of extension depending on project continuity. * **Work Modality:** Hybrid. * **Number of Positions:** 01 **Address:** SENAI Institute of Innovation in Embedded Systems \- Avenida Luiz Boiteux Piazza, 574 \- Cachoeira do Bom Jesus.
