Collaborative team work with a focus on innovation The Systems Analyst will develop and maintain Otus's digital platform with a proactive mindset and ability to execute independently, working closely with process and product teams. They will have the opportunity to translate business needs into reliable systems, using AI tools to accelerate and enhance development. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain the Otus platform (frontend and backend), ensuring availability, performance, and integrity. * Ensure database security and integrity, as well as cross-departmental integrations. * Contribute to technical product specifications together with the process team and IT Leadership—from conception through MVP—meeting deadlines and quality standards. * Proactively and independently lead technical project execution, aligning architectural and strategic decisions with IT Leadership prior to implementation and submitting deliverables for their review and approval. * Implement internal products, monitor performance, and provide support for adjustments and improvements. * Build and maintain integrations between platforms via APIs (scheduling, CRM, notifications, etc.). * Develop automations and workflows for internal processes. * Apply AI-assisted development to accelerate deliveries while maintaining quality. * Collaborate with product and marketing teams to improve dashboards and data experiences. * Participate in routine development and product meetings and present technical results/insights to stakeholders. * Contribute to the platform’s technical evolution by proposing improvements. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, Civil Engineering, or related fields. **Technical Competencies:** * Full-stack web development using JavaScript/Node.js and modern frontend frameworks. * SQL and cloud database modeling and querying (data warehouse and Postgres). * System integration via APIs and process automation. * Code versioning (Git) and deployment in containerized environments. * AI-assisted development for system construction and maintenance. * Ability to independently lead technical project execution, consulting IT Leadership for validation of strategic decisions and review of deliverables. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Proactivity and independence in resolving day-to-day technical issues. * Clear and assertive communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Critical thinking and systemic vision to propose solutions. * Organization and methodology: deadline management, documentation, and attention to non-functional requirements (security, performance). * Collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. **Work Model:** Hybrid (2 days per week onsite at our office in Florianópolis/SC, 3 days remote). **Employment Type:** PJ (Individual Entrepreneur contract) **Additional Information** Year-end bonus tied to company performance + quarterly variable bonus tied to individual performance; Paid vacation; Monthly access to online psychotherapy sessions and teleconsultations; Wellhub (Gympass); Birthday day off; Career path plan linked to performance evaluation; Paid maternity and paternity leave; Opportunity to join our internal discussion groups: book club, charitable action group, women’s group, and diversity group; **Internal Initiatives** Otus Coffee every Thursday to strengthen team bonds and alignment; Coffee, fruits, and cookies always available in our pantry for onsite days; Annual scavenger hunt for relaxation; Gamification; At Otus, we believe that building goes beyond erecting buildings—it’s about creating experiences, uniting people, and transforming how civil construction happens across Brazil.
