Our expertise is human and alive: we embrace differences to empower businesses both inside and outside the company. #### **Your Challenge on the Team:** As a mid-level backend software engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient services that support the billing system of Brazil’s largest SaaS platform — one of RD Station’s strategic pillars. You’ll collaborate with software engineers and product managers to build reliable, secure, and business-aligned solutions, directly contributing to the platform’s operational excellence. #### **Your Key Deliverables:** * Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services; * Implement automated tests (unit, mocked, and end-to-end) to ensure code quality; * Evolve and maintain system architecture, applying best practices in modularity and design; * Monitor and optimize production system performance; * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business needs. #### **Profile We’re Seeking:** * Experience in backend development using Ruby on Rails; * Solid knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL; * Hands-on experience writing automated tests; * Familiarity with Sidekiq for asynchronous processing; * Knowledge of software architecture, including Clean Architecture, Clean Code, SOLID principles, OOP, and Design Patterns; * Experience building and consuming REST APIs; * Experience with Docker for creating and maintaining development environments; * Strong communication and collaboration skills to foster a culture of continuous learning. #### **Nice-to-Have Qualifications:** * Experience with messaging queues such as RabbitMQ; * Knowledge of Redis for caching and performance optimization; * Familiarity with monitoring and analytics tools like Datadog and Rollbar; * Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration; * Contributions to the technical community (articles, talks, open-source projects, mentoring); * Prior experience in Billing or related teams; * Knowledge of frontend technologies such as React, Vue.js, and JavaScript. #### **Selection Process Steps:** * Application – Submission of application; * Mindsight – Work-style assessment; * Talent Acquisition – Competency-based interview with recruitment team; * Technical Challenge – Technical skills evaluation test; * Technical Interview – Technical discussion regarding job requirements; * Final Interview – Final alignment conversation with management; * BP Interview – Discussion with Business Partner about culture and values; * Offer – Final stage of the selection process, presenting the employment proposal.
