Job Summary: Maintenance professional responsible for ensuring safe and functional environments through surface preparation and painting application, as well as other related tasks. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure safe, comfortable, and functional environments through maintenance. 2. Prepare and paint surfaces using various techniques and materials. 3. Perform painting-related tasks with experience. **Description:** The objective of our Maintenance department within the institution is to provide all members and visitors with access to safe, comfortable, and functional temples and buildings. Responsibilities Inspect work to be performed, observing measurements, positioning, and condition of surfaces to be painted, determining procedures and materials to be used. Prepare surfaces to be painted by cleaning, brushing, and removing old or damaged paint using scrapers, sandpaper, solvents, and air jets to eliminate residues, as well as retouching flaws and seams to correct defects and improve paint adhesion. Prepare painting materials by mixing paints, pigments, oil, diluents, and drying agents in appropriate proportions to achieve specified color and quality. Paint surfaces by applying one or multiple coats of paint using rollers, brushes, or spray guns. Perform other tasks relevant to the position. Requirements High school or elementary education. Relevant work experience required. Training or certification in the field is desirable. Valid NR35 certification required. Willingness to travel within the state.
