**Job Description:**

The IT Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the availability and proper functioning of the company's IT equipment and technology infrastructure. This includes handling service requests, providing user support, performing preventive and corrective maintenance on computers and peripherals, supporting basic network and VPN configurations, and assisting in the procurement of IT equipment to ensure technological resources align with business needs. Key Responsibilities: Providing technical support via phone, email, or in person; \- Providing basic user support for systems and equipment; Assisting with training sessions and developing guides and manuals; Performing simple preventive and corrective maintenance on computers and peripherals; Supporting basic network and VPN configurations; Assisting with budgeting and quotations for equipment.
**Mandatory Requirements:**

Completed high school education;
Currently enrolled in a technical course in Information Technology, Computer Maintenance, or related fields;
Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems;
Basic hardware knowledge (assembly and maintenance);
Fundamental knowledge of networks and connectivity.
**Desirable Requirements:**

Initial experience in technical support or computer maintenance is desirable (internship or up to
6 months).
