Maintaining order and cleanliness in the workplace **None:** **Position:** Kitchen Assistant **Mission:** Perform activities related to supporting meal preparation and other duties associated with the role, applying principles of hygiene, cleaning, and food utilization to ensure appropriate food delivery to consumers, aligned with the doctrines and teachings guiding the Marista Group. **Responsibilities:** * Support meal preparation according to appropriate techniques for each food category. * Apply fundamental principles of cleaning, hygiene, and food utilization. * Collect meal leftovers and store or discard them as needed. * Perform and maintain cleanliness and order in the environment and equipment. * Ensure conservation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment, tools, materials used, and the workplace. * Wash dishes including plates, cutlery, pots, baking dishes, glasses, sinks, etc. * Manage inventory in the pantry and prevent food waste. * Ensure dining areas or cafeterias are always in perfect condition and clean. * Clean the kitchen and equipment, ensuring garbage is always sealed per sanitary surveillance regulations. * Perform other related tasks as required. **Technical Competency:** * Elementary or High School education * 1 year of experience in the field **Required:** * Hygiene and Cleaning; * Food Preparation; **Desirable:** * Knowledge of the Institution; * Food hygiene and safety; * Handling, packaging of products and foods, and pantry services. **Behavioral Skills:** * Organization * Communication * Flexibility **Additional Information:** **Work Location:** Marista Escola Social Lucia Mayvorne \- Rua General Vieira da Rosa, 1050 \- Centro, Florianópolis \- SC, 88020\-420 **Benefits:** ?
