Job Summary: The School Support Assistant provides comprehensive support to students with disabilities, including hygiene, mobility, and pedagogical activities, mediating relationships and assisting in the learning process. Mediation of relationships and classroom support for teachers **None:** "I \- Performs feeding, hygiene (using the restroom, brushing teeth, bathing, and changing diapers), and mobility (motor activities and movement) tasks for students with disabilities, and participates in all school activities as needed, across all educational levels and modalities, excluding techniques or procedures associated with legally defined professions; **II \- Assists students in pedagogical activities:** using and organizing personal and collective teaching/learning materials, and acquiring classroom and extracurricular handling skills. III \- Mediates relationships within their area of operation to foster a positive educational environment and refers students to the Pedagogical Team and Specialized Educational Support (AEE) Service whenever necessary. IV \- Assists the teacher in caring for students in the class whenever required, due to the pedagogical or behavioral needs of any student. X \- Prepares daily record reports, when necessary, to support students requiring more individualized monitoring. VI \- Welcomes students at the start of activities and accompanies them upon departure at the end of the shift, as well as during all internal or external movements. VII \- Mediates relationships within their area of operation to foster a positive educational environment and refers students to the Pedagogical Team and Specialized Educational Support (AEE) Service whenever necessary. VIII \- Supports teachers in mediating learning for students who are the target audience of Special Education, as well as for other students. IX \- Engages in various support/logistical activities for the learning process, such as: photographic documentation, classroom organization, school supplies management, use of Assistive Technology (AT) resources, etc. X \- Participates in continuous professional development activities within their field of work, whether internal or external to the school, when requested." For assignment to Specialized Educational Support (AEE), the School Support Assistant should preferably hold initial training qualifying them for teaching (a Bachelor's degree in Education in their field of work) or be in the process of completing it starting from the 4th semester. As an added qualification, training in Inclusive Education is recommended. **None:** None
