**Production Supervisor (Metalworking Industry)** We are seeking a dynamic professional with leadership skills to manage our production lines. The main objective is to ensure compliance with the production plan (PCP), maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards, while also promoting the technical development of the operational team. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead, train, and motivate operators; manage shifts, schedules, and productivity. * Supervise manufacturing processes (machining, welding, assembly, etc.), ensuring continuous flow. * Ensure products meet technical specifications and that safety regulations (PPEs and collective protective equipment) are strictly followed. * Apply methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen to reduce waste and optimize setups – Continuous Improvement. * Analyze production orders and ensure customer delivery deadlines are met. * Collaborate with preventive maintenance to minimize machine *downtime*. * Monitor and conduct job instruction training. * Participate in operational and strategic meetings. * Participate in the selection process to build the Production Team. * Monitor and schedule vacations, onboarding of new employees, terminations, evaluations, feedback sessions, and other routine tasks related to the Production Team members. **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Completed or ongoing Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or related fields) or Production Management. * Proven experience in the metalworking sector, preferably in leadership roles. * Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate/Advanced Excel). **Technical Knowledge:** * Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings. * Proficiency in measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.). * Knowledge of welding, machining (CNC/Conventional), or industrial painting processes.
