More than vehicles travel on our roads—we connect people and energize freight transportation across some of the country’s most important economic corridors. **Responsibilities and duties** As a **TOLL COLLECTOR**, you will be responsible for: Manually collecting toll fees according to vehicle categories by identifying, classifying, and serving users to collect toll fees, verifying the authenticity of banknotes, providing information, distributing promotional communication materials to users, and assisting with traffic guidance at the toll plaza. Inspecting and maintaining materials, equipment, and furniture used in your work environment; supporting lane operations at the toll plaza—including opening and closing toll collection lanes, site signage, and, when necessary, attending to users traveling through automatic lanes, auxiliary lanes, or restricted passages—by verifying situations such as electronic device reading failures for compliant vehicles, blocked electronic devices, or absence of electronic devices, while maintaining radio communication with the toll plaza control center. Providing vehicle signage for manual and automatic lanes by signaling lane openings and closures as needed. **Requirements and qualifications** **It is important that you have:** Completed high school; Availability for rotating shifts and a 12x36 schedule.
