Works under guidance from more experienced professionals, performing operational tasks and ensuring courteous and efficient service to customers and visitors. Conducts telephone and digital scheduling, providing information and guidance to internal and external customers to ensure all activities comply with institutional quality standards and guidelines. Responsibilities Provide high-quality service to internal and external customers via telephone and digital channels; Transfer calls to internal departments whenever necessary and feasible; Schedule, block, and transfer patients in appointment and/or examination calendars according to pre-established rules set by management or physicians; Provide all necessary instructions for appointments and/or examinations; Keep physicians, secretaries, and/or calendar providers informed of any changes to scheduled calendars; Complete or update patient data fully during every scheduling activity; Support coverage during colleagues’ vacations or absences; Perform eligibility verification and authorization with health plans as needed and per established rules; Organize appointment and examination calendars to optimize calendar utilization and physician availability; Send upcoming calendars to physicians, secretaries, and/or calendar providers; Perform other duties of similar nature and complexity as assigned. ###### **Requirements and Qualifications** Languages: English \- Preferred Speaking: Basic Writing: Basic Comprehension: Basic Reading: Basic \- Spanish \- Preferred \- Speaking: Basic \- Writing: Basic \- Comprehension: Basic \- Reading: Basic Computer Skills: \- Microsoft Office \- Basic \- Required \- TASY System \- Basic \- Required Experience and Qualifications: Customer Service Computer Skills (Microsoft Office) Institutional Systems Job Code: 178
