Apply now and join us on this journey to success! **Responsibilities and duties** Perform corrective and preventive mechanical maintenance on machinery, aiming to correct or improve productivity, based on received instructions; Read, interpret, and develop general mechanical or hydraulic/pneumatic schematics and information provided by testing equipment to install or resolve issues with machines, following guidance from more qualified professionals. Monitor and inspect the operation of machines, equipment, devices, and accessories, performing maintenance and replacement of components, following guidance from more qualified professionals, aiming to minimize costs and unnecessary shutdowns, maintaining a high level of quality and productivity of services. Prepare machines for operation by making adjustments, replacing components, and calibrations according to the type of product to be manufactured, as per received instructions. Monitor the operation of machines, equipment, devices, and accessories, performing maintenance and replacement of components, reporting any problems identified. Conduct periodic/daily inspections, checking the functionality of mechanical controls of Equipment/Machinery, reporting defects to more qualified professionals. Install new machines and equipment, following technical manual requirements and instructions from more qualified professionals, incorporating them into the preventive maintenance program. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, following requests to dismantle, clean, replace parts, and reassemble machines and equipment; Implement improvements in equipment and machines, adapting devices to facilitate activities and achieve better productivity, as per received instructions; Conduct tests on components/parts after the entire maintenance process and/or repairs. Perform repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic systems of equipment, machinery, and vehicles (forklifts) owned by the company. Carry out cleaning of air conditioning units, pipelines/mechanisms for circulation of raw materials and ready mixtures for machine supply. Lubricate engines, gears, and other parts, controlling viscosity, color, level, results, and effects of lubricants. Clarify and educate operators on proper conditions and usage of machine resources and their equipment; Record and manage service orders, working hours, and services performed for calls directed to the department. Assess machines, equipment, and devices under risk conditions of fire, accidents, breakdowns, or clear signs indicating problems, immediately reporting to the immediate supervisor. Evaluate the preservation condition and performance of Equipment, Machinery, and mechanical systems across the entire production line, proposing replacements, corrective and preventive actions, etc., to the immediate supervisor. Assist more qualified mechanics when necessary, following received instructions. Handle and operate various types of tools, equipment, and measuring instruments used for electrical testing and repairs, cleaning, organizing, and storing them in appropriate locations. Ensure order and cleanliness of your workplace and the preservation, maintenance of company assets, organization, control, and compliance with quality management standards and procedures. Comply with standards and procedures defined by occupational safety regulations, using PPE and performing operations according to training and received instructions, ensuring personal and third-party safety. Perform other activities as required and at the discretion of the immediate supervisor. **Requirements and qualifications** Completed technical course in maintenance field. Experience in industrial machinery maintenance, extruder experience is a plus; NR35 – working at heights certification valid; Course in maintenance mechanic, hydraulics, pneumatics; Availability for flexible working hours is essential;
