




Job Description: We are seeking a PPCM Technician to work in the planning, scheduling, and control of maintenance activities, ensuring equipment efficiency, adherence to the preventive maintenance schedule, and reduction of production stoppages. This professional will be responsible for integrating maintenance, production, and supplier departments, guaranteeing quality, productivity, and safety in the industrial environment. Responsibilities and Duties * Plan, guide, and assign maintenance activities in accordance with established guidelines, goals, and programs; * Develop the preventive and predictive maintenance calendar and plans for company machinery and equipment—including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and refrigeration systems—verifying the latest inspections, maintenance team’s service availability, and production’s machine release availability; record all data in the system following standardized procedures to minimize interference with the production process while remaining within preventive maintenance limits; * Oversee the implementation, execution, and monitoring of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs, as well as provide support and guidance for third-party services; * Manage the area’s human resources, including staff training, performance evaluation, and discipline; administer absences, vacations, and other procedures related to team structuring, maintenance, and motivation, consulting with the immediate supervisor on key decisions; * Liaise with relevant departments to negotiate preventive maintenance dates; * Monitor routine maintenance checklists—whether performed or requested by production—and archive documents according to established procedures; * Register new machinery and equipment data into the system, entering, updating, and standardizing preventive maintenance procedures for identical parts and devices; * Create and print identification labels for machines and equipment, and request their physical installation; * Transfer information from the computerized system to spreadsheets or text editors to generate and issue reports and controls as needed or upon request; * Maintain contact with suppliers to identify solutions for equipment defects and explore new technologies aimed at improving quality and productivity in the manufacturing area, through internal meetings or specific technical visits; * Contact third-party service providers as needed to assist with electrical, mechanical, or similar maintenance tasks, minimizing machine downtime to restore production; * Oversee the development, execution, and monitoring of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, as well as provide support and guidance for third-party services; * Be accountable for service results and statistics, analyzing reports on unproductive hours and overtime to quantify and validate cost-benefit ratios; * Maintain and update industrial maintenance records and develop and analyze performance indicators to monitor results; * Comply with occupational health and safety standards, correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE), and conduct training and instructional activities to ensure one’s own safety and that of others; * Perform additional duties as required and at the discretion of the immediate supervisor.
