Focus on risk reduction and employee guidance. **Position:** Occupational Safety Technician – Job Description The Occupational Safety Technician will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, implementing preventive and corrective measures across operational and administrative departments. Their role is essential in promoting a safe workplace, reducing risks, and guiding employees on best practices. Responsibilities Conduct periodic inspections across departments to identify hazards and recommend preventive measures; Develop, implement, and monitor PPRA/PGR, PCMSO, and other mandatory programs and reports; Deliver safety training (NRs, onboarding of new employees, PPE usage, etc.); Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports and action plans; Monitor proper use of PPEs and collective protective equipment (CPE); Collaborate with the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA) and support its activities; Issue and manage Work Permits (WP); Support internal and external audits; Contribute to safety awareness campaigns and initiatives. ✅ Requirements Completed technical education in Occupational Safety, with active registration at the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE); Up-to-date knowledge of NRs (Normative Rules) and current legislation; Prior experience in this role (industrial experience is preferred); Proficiency with control tools, reporting, and recordkeeping systems; Strong communication skills, organizational ability, attention to detail, and a proactive, preventive mindset. Advantages Experience delivering training sessions, Daily Safety Talks (DDS), and onboarding programs; Additional certifications in fire prevention, first aid, or ergonomics; Knowledge of management systems, especially ISO 45001.
