




Job Summary: The Logistics Operator is responsible for receiving, inspecting, picking, handling, and managing goods, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. Key Highlights: 1. Teamwork and adherence to safety regulations **What We Expect From You:** * High school diploma or equivalent. * Experience in receiving, inspection, picking, and handling of goods. * Experience with SAP system will be considered an advantage. * Desired ability to prioritize tasks. * Capacity for learning, practical application, and consistent adherence to company procedures, regulations, and rules. * Availability to work on weekends and holidays. * Customer satisfaction orientation. **A Day in the Life of a Logistics Operator:** * RECEIVING GOODS: + Conducts quantitative and qualitative inspection of both commercial and non-commercial goods (e.g., equipment, office supplies), verifying and identifying overall condition, supplier, length, reference number, color tone, expiration date, etc. + Prepares physical space and necessary equipment for proper receiving, avoiding loss of productivity during inspection. + Records all relevant information regarding received goods (quantities, apparent condition, expiration dates, etc.) in the inspection report, ensuring quality and preventing losses. + Stores goods in the correct warehouse location by reading the receiving slip to expedite future order picking for customer pickup or delivery. + Labels products missing or defective barcodes and applies security labels to theft-prone items, ensuring goods delivered to stores are available for sale. + Sorts goods according to flow typology—store goods versus warehouse goods. + Releases goods for storage in the Store or Warehouse by contacting the Replenishment or Storage team to perform storage (receiving note). + Performs anti-shrinkage actions through rigorous qualitative and quantitative checks on received goods, ensuring smooth vehicle flow in the Goods Receiving Yard and proper use of material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, cages). + Maintains organization of equipment, tools, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). + Safely stacks pallets to avoid damage to property and injury to personnel. + Keeps the receiving area clean and organized to help combat shrinkage and prevent workplace accidents. + Receives validated shrinkage reports from the Sales Department, performs qualitative and quantitative inspections, and places shrinkage items in the designated disposal area. + Receives supplier returns validated by the Sales Department, conducts qualitative and quantitative inspections, and schedules pickups. + Receives shipments for Technical Support, performs qualitative and quantitative inspections, and schedules pickups. * CUSTOMER PICKUP AND HOME DELIVERY: + Picks RSS (Reserve Stock), identifies products, and informs the Commercial Department of the pick. + Assigns physical locations for goods and maintains rotating inventory based on the RSS product list. + Delivers goods to customers promptly and courteously, loading them into the customer’s vehicle. + Picks and inspects goods, verifying all items listed on the issued order, and makes them available for customer pickup at the Goods Pickup Area or for carrier pickup (home delivery). * REPLENISHMENT: + Restocks products onto shelves appropriately. * INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: + Stores goods and ensures inventory quality and reliability. + Reviews daily orders generated by the Commercial Department, verifies data consistency required in orders (addresses, phone numbers, delivery dates, references, availability, etc.), organizes orders chronologically, and releases them for billing. + Handles telephone inquiries, informing customers about delivery timelines. + Reports any issues involving the picking team, operations, or products to the Logistics Supervisor. + Assists the Logistics Supervisor in effective warehouse slotting (setup, rotating inventories, etc.). + Processes daily cancellations of RSS orders. + Records shrinkage incidents identified during goods picking. + Maintains strong relationships and serves as the liaison with third-party carriers. + Collaborates with the Customer Service team to proactively address potential goods-related issues. + Reports any goods-related incidents to the Logistics Supervisor and/or Logistics Manager. + Serves as the primary contact point for the Goods Pickup Counter. + Is responsible for their work equipment. + Adheres to safety regulations.
