Supporting interpretation of engineering drawings and dimensional inspections A metallurgical company is seeking a Mechanical Lathe Operator in São José. **Responsibilities:** Perform component machining on manual lathes or CNC lathes according to technical drawing specifications and the company's established quality standards. Carry out machine setup, adjustment, and operation for machining, selecting appropriate cutting tools, cutting parameters, and workholding devices. Provide support in interpreting engineering drawings, measurements, and dimensional inspections, ensuring manufactured parts meet specifications. Perform adjustments, minor repairs, and basic cleaning of machines and tools under one's responsibility. Maintain workplace organization and comply with safety and quality standards in the machining department. Previous experience as a Lathe Operator, Precision Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter, or CNC Lathe Programmer may indicate suitability for some of the duties associated with this position. High school diploma required.
