WHAT YOU WILL LEARN AND DO HERE Develop customized SCADA applications for the renewable energy sector, participating in integrations and automations of wind, solar, and hydroelectric power plants. Design and implement intuitive and high-performance HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), focusing on operator experience. Configure industrial communication drivers using protocols such as Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC UA/DA, IEC 61850, IEC 104, and DNP3\. Participate in acceptance testing to validate systems, assisting in analyzing quality and reliability criteria. Support identifying and help solve SCADA system failures, analyzing logs and performing communication troubleshooting — field experience that strengthens your technical skills. AND YOU MAY ALSO… Contribute to all phases (planning, design, and implementation) of new SCADA projects. Integrate applications with different databases, generating reports and dashboards for operation and maintenance KPI analysis. Participate in technical documentation of systems, procedures, and best practices. WHAT YOU NEED TO STAND OUT Be currently enrolled in Computer Science, Systems, or Engineering programs, with at least 50% of the course completed. Have basic programming knowledge (Python, VBScript, or C\#) and curiosity to learn other languages and automation scripts. Understand relational database concepts and be able to write simple SQL queries. Be familiar with screen development. YOU DON’T NEED, BUT IF YOU HAVE… YOU’RE ALMOST IN!
