Description

Description: Perform electromechanical maintenance (preventive and corrective) on machines and equipment, ensuring their installation, monitoring, and fault diagnosis based on technical schematics. In addition to ensuring daily operational functionality, this role involves developing productivity improvement projects and guiding/training colleagues and operators, as well as managing requests for resources required by the department. Responsibilities and Duties * Perform corrective and preventive mechanical and electrical maintenance on machines, aiming to correct issues or improve productivity, based on received instructions; * Read, interpret, and develop general electromechanical schematics and information provided by testing devices to install or troubleshoot machines, following guidance from more qualified professionals. * Monitor the operation of machines, equipment, devices, and accessories, performing maintenance and component replacement, and reporting any identified problems. * Conduct periodic/daily inspections, checking control system functionality and equipment/machinery operation. * Install new electromechanical machines and equipment, adhering to technical manual requirements and incorporating them into the preventive maintenance program. * Support maintenance technicians in all mechanical maintenance activities whenever necessary, following their instructions. * Train and guide less experienced maintenance technicians or assistants. * Clarify and raise awareness among operators regarding proper machine and equipment usage conditions and correct resource utilization; * Request materials for inventory, maintenance, and labor from the immediate supervisor, based on departmental needs. * Develop and submit for approval equipment and machinery improvement projects, adapting or creating devices to facilitate operator tasks and achieve better productivity. Requirements and Qualifications * Completed Technical Education in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or related field; * Experience in the plastic industry, with extruders being a plus; * Availability to work flexible hours is essential; * Fixed working schedule on Shift B: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:55 AM * Availability for overtime 2512310202491893671
