Focus on system security and updates Colégio Catarinense, part of the Jesuit Educational Network, seeks a new professional for the position of **Information Technology Technician**, to be based at its headquarters in the center of Florianópolis/SC. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Assist in maintaining automated systems of low technical complexity. * Implement security procedures; monitor and control servers and network traffic. * Assist in network administration, user account management, and server installation and configuration. * Identify user needs and guide users on the use of computer applications and equipment. * Update and maintain IT department documentation. * Perform maintenance on the telephone system and security camera monitoring system. * Conduct hardware repairs and maintenance. * Provide technical support for specific systems, when required. * Forward, track, and execute maintenance services for IT equipment. * Carry out routine processing tasks. * Install, update, and provide support for specific software, such as: time clocks, interactive whiteboards, radios, etc., according to institutional requirements; monitor implementation and updating of information systems. * Assist in planning necessary changes to the specific system and request modifications from the IT department; * Prioritize support calls for the specific system based on demand and urgency of the request. * Restore backups and perform backup operations. **Requirements and Qualifications** * **Education:** Technical degree in Information Technology or related fields. * Prior experience in the field. **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
