**SEWING MACHINE OPERATOR I** **Job Description:** POSITION: Sewing Machine Operator I. Salary: BRL 2,285.22. Working hours: Monday to Thursday: from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:24 p.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays: from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:24 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Responsibilities: Organize and maintain the workplace clean, safe, and suitable for carrying out activities; prepare sewing machines, materials, and samples, ensuring proper operation and adjustment of equipment; operate sewing machines for the serial assembly of garments, following technical standards of quality and safety; sew vests and other assigned items, ensuring quality standards; perform inspections during and after sewing, correcting possible defects and ensuring product compliance; contribute to department organization by maintaining equipment and the work environment. **Requirements:** Mandatory requirement: minimum experience in sewing; Education: completed high school. Skills: Attention to detail; organization; teamwork; good communication; empathy; ability to work on a production line; ability to work under pressure; fine motor skills and manual precision. Knowledge: Operation of straight stitch, overlock, piping, and other sewing machines; reading and interpreting patterns and technical sheets; quality standards, occupational safety, and good organizational practices; knowledge of fabrics, threads, and accessories used in the production process.
