Job Summary: This role involves preparing, operating, and monitoring CNC machines, performing quality control using metrology, and conducting basic maintenance and organization. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in operating, parameterizing, and programming CNC machines 2. Knowledge of Technical Drawing Reading and Metrology 3. Experience in Metal-Mechanical Industry and the 5S Program Job Responsibilities: 1\. Setup * **Technical Drawing Reading:** Interprets dimensions, angles, and tolerances of the part on paper or screen. * **Workpiece Fixturing:** Secures raw material (bars, sheets, or blocks) onto the machine table or lathe bed to prevent movement. * **Tooling Assembly:** Selects and installs cutting tools (drills, end mills, inserts) into tool holders or magazines. * **Zero Setting:** Defines the "Part Zero" and "Tool Zero", informing the machine precisely where the material begins in 3D space. 2\. Operation and Monitoring * **Loading and Unloading:** Feeds new parts into the machine and removes finished parts. * **Parameter Adjustment:** Monitors cutting speed and feed rate. If excessive vibration or tool overheating occurs, makes fine adjustments via feed override controls. * **Cutting Fluid:** Ensures coolant reaches the correct location to prevent tool breakage and ensure surface finish. 3\. Quality Control (Metrology) * **Measurement:** Uses instruments such as **calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators** to verify whether the manufactured part conforms to the original drawing. * **Wear Compensation:** Since tools wear during use, the operator inputs "offsets" into the machine’s computer to compensate for lost millimeters and maintain precision. 4\. Basic Maintenance and Organization * **Cleaning:** Removes chips (metal shavings) to prevent jamming. * **Checklist:** Verifies lubricating oil levels and pneumatic pressure of the equipment. **Requirements:** * Completed High School or Technical Course * Experience in operating, parameterizing, and programming CNC machines * NR 12 compliance * Technical Drawing Reading * Metrology — precise measurement * Knowledge of materials (steel/aluminum/iron) * Minimum 6 months’ experience operating CNC machines * Basic G-code programming knowledge * Experience in Metal-Mechanical Industry * Experience in the 5S Program and standardized work * Familiarity with TPM (preventive maintenance) * Commitment * Punctuality **We Offer:** * On-site cafeteria; * Group Life Insurance; * Transportation Allowance — with 6% salary deduction * Monthly and Annual Goal Program * Health and Dental Plan — after probation period * Partnerships with SESI, SESC, CDL, and AEMFLO * Work Location: São José — SC Employment Type: Full-time CLT Salary: Starting from R$4.000,00 per month Work Mode: On-site
