ACATE (Santa Catarina Technology Association) is the leading coordinator of the innovation and technology ecosystem in Santa Catarina. With 39 years of operation as a private, non-profit entity, our purpose is to foster technology-based entrepreneurship and innovation across the state. We operate as a support, training, and networking network for the Santa Catarina ecosystem, promoting sustainable sector development. The association offers acceleration and incubation programs (such as MIDITEC), which have trained over 300 companies and whose methodology is replicated in the MIDIHUB Network. Additionally, we promote Open Innovation through LinkLab—the state’s first laboratory—connecting large corporations with startup solutions. To strengthen the community, ACATE organizes Business Verticals by sector and Thematic Groups addressing cross-cutting topics such as investment. The association also supports and scales the Innovation Center model and facilitates access to capital. On a day-to-day basis, it delivers the ACATE Startups program, offering mentoring and benefits to new entrepreneurs. About the Innovation Network The Innovation Network is an initiative led by the Florianópolis City Hall in partnership with ACATE, aiming to catalyze the city’s creative and entrepreneurial potential, stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship culture, activate the local innovation ecosystem, and generate and scale innovative businesses within Florianópolis municipality. Through training, events, and strategic connections, the objective is to foster the emergence and growth of startups and promote collaboration among various stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem. By bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, academics, and government, the Innovation Network seeks to transform Florianópolis into a nationally and internationally recognized hub for technology and innovation. About the Position Ensure operational excellence and tactical support in executing startup support programs, ensuring adherence to schedule milestones and delivering high-value experiences to participants. Additionally, serve as the connection point and reception for visitors at the ACATE Innovation Center (CIA), promoting visibility and strengthening the Santa Catarina ecosystem. **Responsibilities:** **Operational Support for Programs:** Assist in organizing selection processes, startup screening, and logistics for workshops, mentoring sessions, and evaluation panels. **Startup Relationship Management:** Maintain direct contact with entrepreneurs, sending communications, clarifying regulatory questions, and monitoring engagement in activities. **Data and Indicator Management:** Support data collection and organization—including diagnostics and startup revenue—for program impact reports. **Event Support:** Assist in on-site execution of large-scale events such as Demoday (at Startup Summit), Investor Day, and regional closing events. **Hospitality and Representation:** Conduct guided tours at the ACATE Innovation Center for delegations, investors, and partners, presenting the Innovation Network model and ongoing programs. **Requirements:** Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies; Availability for in-person internship in Florianópolis (ACATE Innovation Center — CIA Primavera); Proficiency in Google tools (Sheets, Docs, and Slides); Strong verbal and written communication skills, with clarity and transparency; Self-management capability to handle multiple schedules and deadlines simultaneously. **Desired Skills:** Ability to interact and relate effectively with diverse audiences; High adaptability to rapidly shifting priorities; **Proactivity:** A hands-on profile that anticipates operational bottlenecks; Experience tracking schedules and deliverables; Familiarity and aptitude with data and indicator management tools. **Bonus Qualifications:** **Ecosystem Experience:** Prior involvement with Junior Enterprises, Academic Centers, or previous experience in startups/innovation hubs. **Languages:** Intermediate/advanced English (for receiving foreign delegations). **Tools:** Familiarity with project management tools (Trello, Asana, or Notion) and data analysis tools (Excel/Google Sheets). **Technical Knowledge:** Basic understanding of agile methodologies or startup maturity stages (Validation, Traction, Scale-up). **Position Details:** **Weekly Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 6 hours/day, on-site schedule; **Work Location:** CIA Primavera and CIA Downtown — Florianópolis/SC; **Internship Stipend:** R$ 1\.265,00; **Transportation Allowance:** R$ 200,00; **Caju Allowance:** R$ 250,00; Discounts on physical and mental health services (fitness, pilates, crossfit, swimming, nutritionists, psychologists…) via Gogood and Conexa; Discounts at ACATE partner companies (universities, short courses…); Corporate library; Meal area with refrigerators and microwaves; Coffee, cappuccino, tea, and fruits always available in the office.
