ACATE (Santa Catarina Technology Association) is the leading coordinator of the innovation and technology ecosystem in Santa Catarina. With 39 years of operation as a private, non-profit entity, our purpose is to foster technology-based entrepreneurship and innovation across the state. We operate as a support, training, and connection network for the Santa Catarina ecosystem, promoting sustainable sectoral development. The association offers acceleration and incubation programs (such as MIDITEC), which have already trained over 300 companies and whose methodology is replicated across the MIDIHUB Network. Additionally, ACATE promotes Open Innovation through LinkLab—the state’s first laboratory—connecting large corporations with startup solutions. To strengthen the community, ACATE organizes Business Verticals by segment and Thematic Groups addressing cross-cutting topics such as investment. The association also supports and scales the Innovation Centers model and facilitates access to capital. On a day-to-day basis, it delivers the ACATE Startups program, offering mentorship and benefits to new entrepreneurs. About the Role The mission is to ensure excellence in the end-to-end execution and strategic management of acceleration programs for operating-stage companies and ACATE’s investor network. The central objective is to support commercial scaling of businesses, preparation for investment, and connection to the corporate market—through comprehensive management and operation of programs—ensuring ACATE delivers real, measurable value to entrepreneurs and strategic partners. **Responsibilities:** **Management of Acceleration Program Tracks:** Direct responsibility for the Growth (commercial acceleration), Venture (investment readiness), and Innovation (open innovation) tracks. **Pipeline Management and Company Selection:** Operate the curation process to select operating/traction-stage startups. This includes assessing commercial maturity and fit with each program, as well as organizing evaluation panels with angel investors and VC funds. **ACATE Invest Management:** Coordinate the investment-raising journey, including startup curation, organization of Pitch Days, and angel investment rounds. **Support for ACATE Startups:** Deliver offerings focused on operating-stage startups, such as specialized mentorship, capacity-building talks, and thematic community management. **Ecosystem Relationship Management:** Direct interface with executives, mentors, investors, and corporations to enable business connections and qualified feedback. **Event and Project Management:** Organize schedules for workshops, regional meetings, and large-scale hybrid/in-person events. **Data Analysis and Diagnostics:** Monitor startup progress through entry and exit diagnostics, measuring efficiency and conversion indicators. **Impact Reporting:** Prepare accountability reports for institutional partners. **Requirements:** Prior experience managing projects or programs within the innovation/startup ecosystem; Professional maturity to engage high-level stakeholders (Directors and CEOs); **Analytical Mindset:** Ability to interpret growth metrics (sales, MRR, conversion rates); **Exceptional Communication Skills:** Strong writing and oral presentation abilities to lead events and mediate meetings with partners; **Organization:** Proficiency with scheduling and process management tools. **Preferred Qualifications:** Knowledge of venture capital and funding stages; Prior connection with the Santa Catarina technology ecosystem; Knowledge and experience in startup management programs; Postgraduate degree in innovation and project management. **Desired Skills:** Proactivity; Time management; Project management (agile methodologies); Data and indicator management; Ability to thrive in dynamic environments; Natural aptitude for connecting people and generating opportunities; Capacity to handle complex challenges. **Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, from 08:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with a hybrid work model; **Work Location:** CIA Primavera \- SC 401 \- Km 04 \- Saco Grande \- Florianópolis/SC. **What We Offer:** Meal/Voucher allowance of R$1\.169,78 per month, maintained during vacations and without payroll deduction; Fully subsidized transportation voucher provided by ACATE; National Unimed health plan, fully covered for the employee; Uniodonto dental plan, fully covered for the employee; Supplementary pension plan, where ACATE matches the employee’s contribution up to a defined cap; Remote work allowance; Discounts on physical and mental health services—including gym, pilates, crossfit, swimming, nutrition, and psychology—through partnerships with Gogood and NAV; Exclusive discounts with ACATE partner companies, covering universities, short courses, restaurants, and more; Pet health insurance plan, in partnership with Guapeco; SESC partnership offering discounts on gyms, courses, restaurants, hotels, and other leisure activities; Group life insurance; Corporate library; Dedicated meal area equipped with refrigerator and microwave; Approved flexible hours bank; Seniority bonus; 40% vacation bonus; Coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, tea, and fresh fruit always available in the office; Annual performance bonus based on achievement of established goals; Birthday day off; In addition to all the above, we also offer several benefits reflecting the ACATE perspective: Working with professionals who are market references; Contributing to the development of one of the fastest-growing sectors in the city, within one of the country’s most recognized innovation centers; Working in an innovative environment, elected the best Innovation Hub in the country by ABStartups; Join us and become part of a team passionate about technology and innovation!
