




Job Summary: SANOVA is seeking a Hydraulic Modeling Designer to conduct studies, prepare documentation, and develop analyses for water and wastewater systems, with a focus on innovation and sustainability. We work on strategic projects across Brazil, focusing on innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainability in the sanitation sector. We are looking for a Hydraulic Modeling Designer with proven technical experience to support our projects and address the company’s growing challenges. **Main Responsibilities** Independently conduct hydraulic studies for water supply and sanitation systems. Prepare and validate technical documentation for internal and third-party studies. Develop analyses, critical scenarios, and expansion studies for water and wastewater systems. Perform and validate hydraulic model calibrations based on monitored data. Participate in economic feasibility analyses of infrastructure technical solutions. Support new business initiatives, with a technical focus on modeling. Integrate field information and geospatial data (GIS) into models. Contribute to working groups and technical development initiatives within the department. **Mandatory Requirements** Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Sanitary, Environmental Engineering, or related fields. Practical experience in hydraulic modeling (construction, calibration, zoning, scenario analysis, and expansion). Proficiency in software such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, Hammer, EPANET, or similar tools. Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel. GIS knowledge (QGIS or ArcGIS). Experience with sanitation projects. Analytical ability, organization, proactivity, and effective communication skills. Willingness to travel occasionally. **Preferred Qualifications** Experience with network monitoring systems. Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and interfacing with operational departments. **Additional Information** ========================== Work modality: On-site, in Florianópolis (SC); Employment type: Individual Contractor (PJ); Compensation: Service fee, issuance of Service Orders based on each project to be developed.
