A dynamic environment for professional growth **ENGIE Brasil Energia is looking for a new** **talent to join our team!** **Business Development Projects Engineer III** We are seeking a **Business Development Projects Engineer** to develop optimization of substation technical solutions and perform electrical studies. **If you are organized, proactive, enjoy teamwork, and seek a dynamic environment for professional development, this is the place for you!** **Responsibilities:** * Perform activities required to identify technical requirements, consolidate regulatory references and best practices, disseminate information, and coordinate with various internal stakeholders to enable transmission-related projects, including analysis and optimization of substation technical solutions—such as siting, layout, foundations, structures, among others. * Define technical requirements for procurement of items not covered by main contracts. * Develop stakeholder mapping and propose stakeholder management approaches, particularly concerning contracted companies, regulatory agencies, and concessionaires involved. * Identify and assess engineering-related risks and opportunities, and propose corresponding mitigation plans. * Critically analyze proposed activity plans for development and, especially, implementation phases. * Prepare technical reports when required by the National Electric System Operator (ONS) or the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL). * Conduct necessary electrical studies to prepare technical reports for ANEEL/ONS and to evaluate power evacuation capacity in specific regions and forecast required expansions/reinforcements. * Contribute to developing engineering procedures applicable to ongoing and implementation-phase projects, aligned with national and international standards, engineering best practices, and internal guidelines, incorporating lessons learned. * Comply with, and ensure compliance with, external and internal Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management regulations applicable to business operations, and act within one’s scope of responsibility to support the Company’s certification standards implementation. **Mandatory Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Civil Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering. * English – Intermediate. * Advanced technical knowledge of substations. * Advanced knowledge of substation construction and works activities. * Basic understanding of Project Management. * Advanced knowledge of ANEEL auctions, tender documents, technical documentation, and grid procedures. **Desirable Attributes:** * Experience in engineering projects related to transmission works and day-to-day operations with major suppliers. **Interested in this challenge?
