Dynamic environment for professional development **ENGIE Brasil Energia is looking for a new** **talent to join the team!** **Business Development Project Engineer III** We are seeking a **Business Development Project Engineer** to optimize technical solutions for substations and conduct electrical studies. **If you are organized, proactive, enjoy working in a team, and seek a dynamic environment for professional growth, this is the place for you!** **Responsibilities:** * Perform activities required to identify technical requirements, consolidate regulatory references and engineering best practices, disseminate information, and coordinate with various internal stakeholders to ensure feasibility of transmission-related projects, including analysis and optimization of technical solutions for substations—such as siting, layout, foundations, structures, among others. * Define technical requirements for procurement of goods and services not covered under main contracts. * Develop stakeholder mapping and propose stakeholder management approaches, particularly concerning contracted companies, regulatory agencies, and concessionaires involved. * Identify and assess engineering-related risks and opportunities, and propose corresponding mitigation plans. * Critically review activity planning proposed for development and, especially, implementation phases. * Prepare technical reports as required by the National Electric System Operator (ONS) or the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL). * Conduct necessary electrical studies for preparing technical reports for ANEEL/ONS and for evaluating power evacuation capacity in specific regions, as well as projecting required expansions/reinforcements. * Contribute to developing engineering procedures applicable to ongoing and implemented projects, in accordance with national and international standards, engineering best practices, and internal guidelines, incorporating lessons learned. * Comply with, and ensure compliance with, external and internal Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management regulations applicable to business operations, and act responsibly within assigned processes to support implementation of the Company’s certification standards. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Civil Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering. * English – Intermediate. * Technical knowledge of substations – Advanced. * Knowledge of substation construction and works activities – Advanced. * Basic understanding of project management. * Advanced knowledge of ANEEL auctions, tender documents, technical documentation, and grid procedures. **Desirable Attributes:** * Experience in engineering projects related to transmission works and daily site operations involving major suppliers. **Interested in the challenge?
