The Colégio Catarinense of the Jesuit Network of Education is seeking a new professional for the position of **Gardener** to join its team in the Florianópolis/SC center. **Responsibilities and duties** * Management and maintenance of gardens in general. * Cleaning and preservation of all spaces containing plants, flowers, foliage, shrubs, and trees. * Perform grass cutting and regular pruning at appropriate times, thereby promoting plant growth and health. * Keep green areas clean and free of debris by removing fallen leaves, branches, and other dirt, as well as their surroundings. * Maintain the overall landscape aesthetics, including the appearance of lawns and flower beds. * Maintain the football field grass in good condition, requiring evaluation after use in activities. * Carry out installation and creation of indoor and outdoor environments and mow lawns. * Identify, control, and monitor the growth of invasive plants. * Control the application of necessary fertilizers, nutrients, and soil amendments, ensuring plant development. * Ensure that plants are properly watered according to their survival protocols. * Install and maintain irrigation systems to assist in plant growth and survival. * Apply appropriate treatments and preventive measures using organic products or, when necessary, herbicides and pesticides. * Ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition and properly stored. * Clean and maintain all equipment after use. **Requirements and qualifications** * Knowledge in handling all tools and equipment used in job activities. * Experience with combustion-powered equipment such as chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and other relevant tools. * Experience in job-related activities. **Additional Information** Schedule: Monday to Friday: from 07:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
