




Job Summary: Lead temple facility management, ensuring its beauty, cleanliness, and sacred nature, while supervising teams and implementing maintenance standards. Key Highlights: 1. Senior expert in facility systems and processes * Ensure the temple reflects beauty, cleanliness, and its sacred nature; * Maintain standards established by the First Presidency; * Provide functional leadership to all department employees (assistant facility managers, custodial staff, grounds staff, security staff); * Project management responsibilities for facilities, systems, and grounds, including inspections, reporting, reviewing compliance with drawings and specifications, liaison with local government, permitting, monitoring project schedules, and coordinating delivery and installation of furniture/materials; * Regularly manage the work of other employees (may include a mixed workforce); * Most senior functional expert on-site. * Regularly manage the work of other employees (may include a mixed workforce) * Responsible, in partnership with HR, for hiring or terminating employees and recommending advancement, promotion, or any other employee status change within their line of supervision; * Responsible for maintaining the temple and associated auxiliary buildings in the temple complex; * Responsible for maintaining established standards at all times—during peak usage and when the temple is closed; * Regularly manage the work of other employees (may include a mixed workforce); * Excellent knowledge of the work, skill levels, and performance of the Temple Facilities Services team, providing training and guidance; * Responsible for implementing temple maintenance guides and materials, and testing maintenance methods, systems, and equipment. * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields; * Experience in facility management; * Broad understanding of facility systems and processes, such as (boiler/chiller maintenance and operations, electric motor controls, audiovisual systems, electrical distribution systems, and plumbing systems); * Excellent verbal and written communication skills; * Intermediate Office Suite proficiency; * PowerBI knowledge desirable; * Advanced English.
