Take a look: **Your responsibilities will include:** Developing R&D projects focused on power system applications, such as analysis, operation, planning, and management of electric power systems; asset management analysis; and modeling and simulation of assets comprising electric power systems; Activities also include preparation of technical project reports, technical presentations, and articles for publication; Gathering specifications to define the scope of power system-related projects; Conducting market technology assessments; Analysis, modeling, and simulation of electric power system assets; Developing solutions for operation, planning, and condition assessment of electric power sector assets; Supporting the development of solution architectures; Participating in client meetings to present solution proposals, project progress status, and results; Writing and presenting technical-scientific articles and reports; Participating in peer activity development discussions and reviews. We expect you to possess the following knowledge and skills: Experience in technical leadership of teams; Experience in modeling distribution, transmission, and generation equipment for electrical studies; Experience in power flow, short-circuit, electromechanical stability, and electromagnetic transient studies; Knowledge of asset management methodologies for the electric power sector; Teamwork skills, proactivity, and communication ability; English language: advanced reading/writing and intermediate speaking proficiency; Minimum 5 years of experience working in electric power sector companies or in energy sector R&D projects; Interpersonal skills necessary to establish client relationships and lead technical discussions. **It would be a plus if you have knowledge of:** Power distribution network planning; Programming in Python and C; Postgraduate degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in power systems, with emphasis on operation, planning, or protection of power systems; Experience in R&D project development; Knowledge of agile methodologies; Knowledge of simulation tools (PSCAD, openDSS, MATLAB/Simulink) and/or real-time simulation tools (Opal-RT, RTDS, Typhoon HIL). **Your education must include:** A completed Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. **Availability:** 40 hours per week.
