Job Summary: Assist in meal preparation in an industrial kitchen, support pre-preparation and food distribution, and perform cleaning of the environment and utensils, following safety standards. Care for organization and preservation of materials **Job Description:** ---------------------- .Summary of tasks to be performed: .Assist in large-scale meal preparation under the supervision of the cook in an industrial kitchen environment. .Support food pre\-preparation (washing, cutting, ingredient separation) according to team instructions. .Assist in restocking and replenishing distribution areas (self\-service, salads, side dishes, desserts, etc.). .Assist in food service and distribution to diners when necessary. .Perform cleaning of utensils, equipment, walls, and surfaces, as well as general cleaning of the kitchen and support areas. .Correctly follow food safety, hygiene, and proper PPE usage procedures. .Ensure organization and preservation of supplies and materials used in daily kitchen operations. .Work collaboratively in a team, maintaining a cooperative attitude and adherence to company policies. .Act in accordance with company guidelines, following quality and efficiency standards in customer service. .Detailed tasks: Assist the cook in food pre\-preparation and preparation of planned meals; .Separate required foods and utensils for each preparation; .Store foods in gastronorm containers to ensure proper presentation of preparations; .Load and unload ready-to-serve food containers in pass\-throughs, organizing them according to the FEFO method; .Stock distribution counters with required preparations and utensils for proper restocking; .Clean plates, trays, containers, and cutlery; .Clean kitchen and dining room equipment, furniture, and utensils; .Clean the distribution counter, tables, chairs, and drinking fountains in the dining room; .Clean kitchen and access corridor facilities and buildings, including walls up to 2m (two meters) in height, floors, drains, grates, and doors; .Follow SOPs for cleaning facilities, buildings, furniture, utensils, and equipment, as well as personal hygiene and etiquette guidelines provided by the Nutrition Division; .Perform environmental cleaning using a high-pressure washer; .Manually or mechanically (using washing and drying machines) clean cloths and uniforms; .Restock kitchen hand-washing stations with paper towels, liquid soap, and alcohol-based gel; .Collect, remove, separate, package, and transport organic waste, recyclables, and rejects to the designated municipal urban collection point, following procedures specified by the Nutrition Division; Weigh waste generated from meal production and distribution according to procedures specified by the Nutrition Division; Maintain, clean, and keep organized all materials and equipment under your responsibility; Conserve all resources, avoiding food, water, and electrical energy waste; Perform other duties relevant to the position, of similar nature and level of difficulty. **Essential Requirements:** ------------------------------ Completed 4th grade **Employment Type:** -------------------------- CLT **PCD:** -------- NOT APPLICABLE **Benefits:** --------------- Meal allowance Transportation allowance Salary advance Pharmacy benefit plan Dental plan **Work Location:** ---------------------- Trindade/Florianópolis **Working Hours:** ------------------------ 12x36 day shift
