Ensuring quality, consistency, and predictability **Job Description:** ---------------------- We are looking for a Tech Lead to technically lead the evolution of our platforms, standardize development, unblock the team, and guarantee deliveries with quality, consistency, and predictability. Our primary tech stack is PHP (Laravel and CakePHP). You will serve as the technical reference for the squad, promoting best practices and leveraging AI as an accelerator—without compromising solid engineering. Main Responsibilities: 1\. Technical Leadership \- Technically lead the development team (Back\-end and Front\-end). \- Ensure architectural standards, code quality, and consistency. \- Support the team in breaking down technical user stories, identifying dependencies, and mitigating risks. \- Guide implementation approaches focused on efficiency and scalability. 2\. Engineering Practices and Governance Define and maintain development practices: \- Mandatory Code Review. \- Branching, Pull Request, and approval criteria standards. \- Coding style and standardization guidelines (PSR). \- Testing strategy (unit and integration tests). \- Ensure objective technical documentation: \- Technical decisions. \- APIs. \- Contracts and integrations. 3\. Technical Evolution and Sustainability \- Ensure continuous system evolution without uncontrolled accumulation of technical debt. \- Guide refactoring, modularization, and progressive improvements. \- Support the Product Owner with technical insights (impacts, risks, dependencies), without assuming product responsibilities. 4\. Quality and Stability \- Collaborate with QA to ensure testable acceptance criteria. \- Reduce rework and production bugs. \- Support releases and environment stability. \- Collaborate with DevOps/Infra as needed (deployments, logs, monitoring, incidents). 5\. Strategic Use of AI Leverage AI to support the engineering workflow for: \- Boilerplate generation. \- Initial code reviews. \- Test and scenario suggestions. \- Ensuring human validation and maintenance of quality standards. 6\. Hands\-on Involvement (when necessary) Directly engage in critical areas: \- Incidents. \- Technical bottlenecks. \- Complex integrations. \- Sensitive refactors. \- Implement or adjust key components to unblock the team. This role is not purely operational but requires the ability to dive into code when necessary. **Mandatory Requirements:** ------------------------------ Required qualifications: * Solid Back\-end development experience with PHP. * Practical experience with frameworks such as Laravel and/or CakePHP. * Prior experience serving as a technical reference, Tech Lead, or Senior Developer with technical leadership responsibilities. * Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban). * Proven track record working in multidisciplinary teams (Dev, QA, Product, Infra).
