Job Summary: Work as a Sterilization Assistant in the Central Sterile Supply Department, performing washing, drying, packaging, and autoclaving of surgical instruments. Key Highlights: 1. Monitor processed items using a traceability system JOB: STERILIZATION ASSISTANT LOCATION: ARAPIRACA/AL Responsibilities and Challenges: As a STERILIZATION ASSISTANT, you will operate in the Central Sterile Supply Department. Your main responsibilities include: * Wash, dry, sort, and package surgical instrumentation materials. * Autoclave and store sterile materials, ensuring timely delivery for surgeries. * Verify stored, sterilized, consigned, and defective materials. * Prepare and assemble material kits according to surgical requirements. * Use a traceability system to monitor all processed items. * Inspect materials for oxidation and wear, ensuring item quality and safety. Required Qualifications: * Completed High School education.
