Are you interested in joining our team? **What do we expect from a General Services Assistant?** We are looking for a General Services Assistant willing to build collectively, who enjoys working with people and draws inspiration from new challenges. We seek candidates with completed elementary education and a minimum of six months’ experience in this role or related fields such as cleaning or housekeeping. Experience in hotels, guesthouses, or large-scale establishments, as well as complementary courses or training in housekeeping or hospitality, will be considered advantageous. If you are dedicated, eager to learn, and believe you can grow alongside Amarante, this may be the ideal time to join our team. **What challenges will you face here?** You will be responsible for performing cleaning and maintenance of the hotel’s indoor and outdoor areas, ensuring all environments remain organized and welcoming for our guests. You will also assist in organizing and restocking hygiene supplies—such as soaps, toilet paper, and towels—and carry out waste collection and segregation, ensuring proper and sustainable disposal. It will be part of your responsibilities to submit maintenance requests whenever repairs are needed, as well as assist with general tasks across departments including housekeeping, maintenance, and warehouse operations. Daily duties require correct usage of chemical products, cleaning equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE), following all established practices and procedures to minimize environmental impact—including proper waste management and responsible use of natural resources. You must also identify situations that could cause negative environmental impacts and report them to the environmental team, as well as participate in sustainability and environmental practice trainings.
