Opportunity for hands-on learning in high-complexity procedures **Medradius – Nuclear Medicine and Radiology Clinic of Maceió** is seeking a **Biomedical Intern** to work in the **Nuclear Medicine** department, with a focus on performing **PET\-CT** examinations. If you are a Biomedical Sciences student, interested in gaining practical experience in high-complexity imaging procedures, and wish to develop your skills in a technical and collaborative environment, this opportunity is for you. **Responsibilities and Duties** Support opening and organizing the daily workflow of the Nuclear Medicine department. Assist in performing controls and verifications of machines and equipment. Call patients in the system and at the reception desk to begin service. Assist in conducting **patient history taking (anamnesis)** and patient counseling. Prepare patients for PET\-CT examinations. Assist in **patient positioning** prior to the procedure. Register patients in the image acquisition system. Monitor examinations alongside the responsible team. Assist in evaluating the need for additional image acquisitions during the examination. Guide and discharge patients after completion of the procedure. Close the service in the system and organize examination information. Release the patient’s file to the nuclear medicine physician responsible for reporting. Monitor scheduled patients and confirm departmental appointments. Support organizing the work environment and closing the department’s daily routine. **Requirements and Qualifications** Currently enrolled in an undergraduate **Biomedical Sciences** program (preferably from intermediate semesters onward). Interest in working in the field of **Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Imaging**. Basic knowledge of **biosafety and patient care**. Strong communication skills, organization, and sense of responsibility. Ability to work effectively in a team and in a technical environment.
