Job Summary: Supports the kitchen team in food preparation and plating, performing various tasks while ensuring food quality and safety standards. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for supporting the kitchen team in food preparation and plating, following instructions from the chef and cooks, performing kitchen-related tasks, and substituting for cooks when necessary—ensuring all activities comply with Group Bravo's quality and food safety standards. * Prepare kitchen workstations relevant to your shift; * Clean, peel, cut, and chop food items such as vegetables, fruits, meats, and other ingredients as needed; * Assist cooks in preparing menu items; * Assist in plating menu items; * Assist in finalizing menu items when required, following instructions from the chef and cooks; * Ensure dishes are plated according to Group Bravo's presentation and quality standards; * Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including countertops, equipment, and utensils used during your shift; * Assist in organizing and storing food and supplies as needed and as directed by the chef; * Support the kitchen team in various tasks as required; * Follow instructions from the chef and cooks to ensure efficiency and food preparation quality. * Strictly adhere to food safety, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food handling; * Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required; * Identify and report any risks or unsafe conditions to the supervisor; * Assist in food and supply inventory control, informing leadership when replenishment is needed; * Store food properly to ensure preservation and food safety.
