**Gurupi Project – Sustainability Coordinator** **Summary of Responsibilities:** The Sustainability Coordinator is responsible for managing all activities related to occupational health, safety, and environmental management. This role requires ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as promoting a safe and healthy work environment. Additionally, the coordinator must implement and monitor compliance with government regulations and promote sustainable practices to minimize the environmental impact of mining operations. **Key Responsibilities:** * Coordinate Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) areas, ensuring legal compliance, sound operational practices, and strengthening the sustainability culture; * Manage environmental licenses, authorizations, and conditions, maintaining technical and institutional interface with regulatory and oversight agencies; * Develop, implement, and improve environmental, occupational health, and safety management policies and programs aligned with corporate standards and guidelines; * Lead multidisciplinary teams, promoting engagement, training, and technical development; * Monitor environmental and EHS performance indicators, conducting action plans, inspections, and internal audits to ensure continuous improvement; * Plan and coordinate waste management, environmental emergency response, and impact mitigation programs, ensuring readiness and integrated cross-functional response; * Strengthen relationships with communities, public agencies, and stakeholders by leading socio-environmental projects, educational campaigns, and institutional communication; * Prepare ESG reports and indicators, promoting transparency, reputation, and sustainable operational performance. **Required Qualifications:** * Education: Engineering degree, with specializations in Occupational Health, Occupational Safety, Environmental fields, or related areas, with active registration in the professional council; * Proven experience in environmental, health, and occupational safety management within mining operations; * Strong institutional relationships in the states of MA and PA; * Experience in corporate communication management focused on sustainability and EHS; **Desired Qualifications:** * Postgraduate degree, MBA, or master’s in Environmental Management, Sustainability, ESG, or related fields; * Relevant certifications in health and safety, such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), will be an advantage; * Solid knowledge of regulations related to environmental management, occupational health and safety, and environmental monitoring and assessment applicable to mining. * Preferred residence location: Maranhão (Maracaçumé, Governador Nunes Freire, Pinheiro, São Luís). **Additional Information:** * Work schedule: 44 hours per week, Monday to Friday\-feira; * Transportation and meals provided by the company. **About the Company:** G Mining Ventures (GMIN) is a gold mining company focused on acquiring, developing, and operating precious metals projects.
