Job Summary: The Senior Tax Analyst will support tax-related routines, ensuring compliance with tax obligations and legal requirements, performing document analysis, tax calculation, fulfillment of ancillary obligations, and supporting audits and process improvements. The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for supporting the company’s tax routines, ensuring accurate fulfillment of tax obligations, compliance with current legislation, and adherence to statutory deadlines. The role involves analyzing tax documents, calculating taxes, submitting ancillary obligations, and supporting internal and external audit processes as well as tax department process improvements. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Record and verify incoming invoices in the system, ensuring correct fiscal and tax classification; * Analyze, calculate, and withhold source taxes on services (IRRF, PIS, COFINS, CSLL, INSS, and ISS), ensuring consistency among tax documents, system records, and ancillary obligations; * Prepare, review, and submit ancillary obligations, including EFD\-Reinf, MIT, DCTFWeb, EFD Contributions, SPED Fiscal, and municipal declarations; * Calculate PIS and COFINS, ensuring proper application of tax regulations; * Verify and issue service billing, ensuring correct taxation and data integrity; * Issue and monitor PER/DCOMP for federal tax compensation or refund procedures; * Register foreign supplier invoices, analyze transaction nature, and calculate and remit applicable taxes; * Support internal and external audit processes by organizing and providing required tax documentation; * Collaborate with internal departments to align information and contribute to continuous improvement of tax processes. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields; * Prior experience in tax routines and fulfillment of ancillary obligations; * Solid knowledge of municipal and federal tax legislation; * Intermediate Excel proficiency; * Analytical, organized profile with strong prioritization and deadline management skills. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with RM ERP – TOTVS; * Experience in service billing; * Knowledge of the impact of the Tax Reform; * Knowledge of direct taxes. **Additional Information** * Market-competitive additional benefits; * A dynamic and collaborative work environment; * Opportunity to work for an international, expanding company offering learning and professional development opportunities. **Hybrid Work Model with two days per week onsite at Vila Olímpia** ***Safer Recruitment @Cognita*** *Cognita is committed to* ***protecting and promoting the well-being of children and adolescents*** *and expects all employees, volunteers, and third parties to share this commitment.
