An Access Controller's responsibilities extend beyond simple entry and exit verification. Key duties include: * **Entry and exit control:** Registering and monitoring the flow of people and vehicles at entrances or reception areas. * **Authorization verification:** Checking credentials, ID badges, or attendance lists to ensure only authorized individuals gain access. * **Security system monitoring:** Operating surveillance cameras, alarms, and other security devices. * **Emergency response support:** Acting in hazardous situations—such as building evacuations or accidents—in accordance with established protocols. * **Public service:** Providing information and guidance to visitors regarding site operations.
