Come be Strong — come be Fortbras! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Design, implement, and evolve cloud architectures (public, private, or hybrid), ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. * Administer and optimize databases in cloud environments, including SQL Server and PostgreSQL. * Plan and execute backup, restore, high availability, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies for databases. * Monitor infrastructure and database performance, proactively identifying bottlenecks. * Define and apply best practices for architecture, standards, and governance in cloud environments. * Manage and optimize cloud resources, including costs related to database services (FinOps). * Implement and maintain security policies, access controls, and data/service encryption. * Analyze and resolve critical incidents involving infrastructure and databases. * Document architectures, processes, and technical standards. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). * Experience in database administration: * Microsoft SQL Server * PostgreSQL * Knowledge of: * Performance tuning (queries, indexes, execution plans) * Backup and restore * Replication and high availability (Always On, streaming replication, etc.) * Proficiency in cloud networking (VPC/VNet, VPN, DNS, Load Balancer). * Knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server operating systems. * Experience with monitoring and observability. * Knowledge of data security (encryption, access control, hardening). **Additional Information** Fortbras exists to be the KEY PIECE in Brazilian Mobility, facilitating the LIVES of our COLLEAGUES and CUSTOMERS.
