**Responsibilities and Duties** **Mission:**
* Plan, coordinate, and execute/monitor geological activities related to project implementation, ensuring technical feasibility, regulatory and normative compliance, and resource optimization—with emphasis on interactions and interfaces between geology and other disciplines within heavy engineering.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Conduct geological–geotechnical studies to support project implementation (mining, infrastructure, energy, etc.).
* Perform and/or interpret field data, borehole logs, geological mapping, and laboratory and stability analyses.
* Prepare technical reports, expert opinions, assessments, and recommendations to support decision-making.
* Interface with engineering disciplines during execution of structures, access routes, foundations, and civil works based on geological–geotechnical criteria.
* Monitor field activities, ensuring technical quality and adherence to schedules.
* Integrate geological information with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, environment, planning).
* Ensure compliance with applicable technical standards, environmental legislation, and regulatory requirements.
* Assess geological risks and propose alternative solutions and/or mitigation measures.
* Participate in environmental licensing processes and impact studies.
* Support procurement and management of third-party services (borehole drilling, testing, modeling, consulting).
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:**
* Required: Bachelor’s degree in Geology.
* Required: Specialization in Engineering Geology / Geotechnics.
