Software Engineer – Senior Backend (Payments) **About the Challenge** You will build and maintain systems that process **real payments** within the SFN: **PIX, STR, TED, and boleto**. There is no simulation here: it’s production code, subject to **regulatory windows**, with direct financial impact and requirements for continuous operation—including outside regular business hours. At BMP, being a **Senior Engineer** is not just a title; it reflects the level of **technical and operational responsibility** you assume over everything you deploy to production. **Summary of Responsibilities.** * Develop and evolve **payment processing microservices** (PIX, STR, TED, and boleto); * Implement integrations with Central Bank systems: SPI, STR, DICT, and RSFN; * Build solutions for **transaction reconciliation, auditing, and traceability**; * Ensure **service resilience**, applying strategies such as retry, circuit breaker, dead\-letter queues, and failure recovery; * Write **clean, tested, and well-documented code**, considering maintainability and evolution by other engineers; * Participate in a **rotating on\-call schedule**, autonomously diagnosing and resolving critical incidents; * Conduct **code reviews** for mid-level and junior engineers, providing technical and constructive feedback. **Technical Requirements.** * Solid experience in **backend development**, with focus on integration systems and high availability; * Proficiency in **.NET (C\#)** with ASP.NET Core, background services, and resilience patterns (e.g., Polly); * Experience with **asynchronous messaging** (RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka, or IBM MQ); * Strong knowledge of **AWS**, relational databases, and transactional data modeling; * Ability to **debug in production**, using observability tools (logs, metrics, and traces). **Nice-to-Haves.** * Experience with **payment methods in the SFN** (PIX, STR, TED); * Knowledge of **ISO 20022** or **FEBRABAN XML**; * Experience in **SCD, IP, or fintechs regulated by the Central Bank.** **Additional Information.** * Work model: **100% in-office**; * Location: **Av.
