Recipe for Success: Job Summary
The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for leading and ensuring the reliability of Le Creuset Brasil’s financial reporting, guaranteeing compliance with local and international standards, technical excellence, and alignment with Global reporting requirements.
Work hands-on and analytically, focusing on efficiency, governance, and continuous improvement of accounting and tax processes.
Ingredients: Key Responsibilities
**Accounting Management**
* Lead the full monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timeliness of financial statements.
* Ensure all financial statements and reports comply with current IFRS and CPC standards.
* Monitor and review reconciliations, accruals, and analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts—including foreign exchange and intercompany impacts.
* Ensure consistency of accounting and financial reports submitted to headquarters and serve as the focal point for the Global Accounting team.
**People and Process Management**
* Coordinate and develop the Accounting team, promoting technical training and a high-performance culture.
* Structure, optimize, and document workflows, internal controls, and accounting policies—driving automation and operational efficiency.
* Ensure technical alignment and integration among Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Controller functions.
**Audit and Strategic Support**
* Serve as the focal point for external audits and tax inspections (federal, state, and municipal), providing technical support and documentation.
* Support Financial Management and Executive Leadership with managerial reports and analyses (P&L, variances, taxes, compliance).
* Develop and present departmental performance indicators and dashboards.
**International Operations**
* Perform and supervise intercompany reconciliations and journal entries for international transactions.
* Support LATAM closing processes and global reporting, ensuring compliance with Group policies and corporate deadlines.
The Perfect Blend:
What We’re Looking For
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences.
* Active CRC registration required.
* Minimum of 3 years in coordination or management roles within accounting.
* Experience in multinational companies or with international reporting.
* Prior experience with outsourced accounting services will be considered a plus.
* Practical proficiency in IFRS and CPC standards.
* Experience in financial closing, reconciliation review, and accrual control.
* Advanced Excel skills and solid ERP system knowledge (experience with LINX is a plus).
* Intermediate English—reading and communication with headquarters and international auditors.
**Desirable Differentiators:**
* Postgraduate degree in Finance or Advanced Accounting.
* Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (Power BI or similar).
* Experience in accounting process automation and implementation of improvements.
